WhatsApp: ख़तरनाक default compression
WhatsApp भारत का most-used platform है और सबसे aggressive compression भी करता है:
- Long side 1600 px से बड़ी images को downscale किया जाता है
- JPEG quality ~60-70% पर compress
- EXIF metadata strip (privacy point of view अच्छा, पर photographer के लिए बुरा)
- PNG को अक्सर JPEG में convert
- Color profile info gone
Real measurement: 4032×3024 px, 5.8 MB iPhone photo WhatsApp "Photos" mode से भेजने पर 1600×1200 px, ~280 KB आती है। ~95% compression।
Solution: Attachment icon (paperclip) → Document choose करें → image select। तब WhatsApp untouched भेजता है, पर receiver को file manually download करनी पड़ती है और chat में preview नहीं दिखता।

Telegram: Messaging world का unsung hero
Telegram भारत में growth कर रहा है (education channels, crypto groups, file-sharing communities)। इसकी strengths:

Discord: Gamer/Tech community का favourite

Hidden limits जो hardly documented हैं
Official docs में सब कुछ नहीं आता। Real-world में ये ख़ास traps हैं:
- Discord Webhook: Webhook से भेजी image का embed preview max 6000×6000 px, उससे ऊपर preview नहीं होगा
- Slack external link unfurl: External image URL की 5 MB limit preview के लिए, बड़ी images expand नहीं होंगी
- WhatsApp Web: Browser version कभी-कभी phone से अलग compression apply करता है — photographer के लिए headache

Solutions — Limits से कैसे निपटें
Solution 1: Compress before sending
TinyPNG, Squoosh से pre-compress — 50-70% size reduction almost बिना quality loss के।
